I am so thankful for a borrowed computer, but I sure am missing mine. This one uses Internet Explorer, mine has Firefox. I find the difference in the browsers to be a big pain, I love my firefox.
My spellchecker on blogger is not working and firefox has one built in, so I know I have two, now I have none.
Don't you hate it when something comes along and rocks your boat? I do. I have learned though, that when we trust the Lord, He has a purpose and will use it for our good. How He is going to use me losing all of this I do not know, but He will. I am trying to learn what I can from the struggles and move on.
My posting may be patchy, my email is a mess, I have no idea how to pay my bills since my sites were all bookmarked, and I have lost some "cookies" that let me into sites. But, as my husband's favorite saying goes "It'll be alright".

I have really lost it now
Sometimes we all feel like we have "lost it". Things just make our brain swim and we can't seem to figure out what we are doing or what we did with something.
Well, I know where I had it, know what I was doing with it, but I have lost it. Lost it all apparently. Gone. Kaput. Outta here.
Yesterday my APC backup started ringing. Not beeping, but one constant long beep. It was driving me crazy. Then I was using the bread maker and that was beeping now and then. Then, something else started beeping and I still can't figure out what that was.
By now my ears were ringing on their own!
I went out of the house and figured I would buy a surge protector for the computer. After all, the battery for my backup was about $50 and the thing is 6 years old and will not work right with my XP anyway.
Came home, turned off the computer and plugged everything into the surge protector.
Turned on computer. At that point I knew I lost it. Everything! My computer would not boot.
Tried again.
Tried with the boot disk.
Cried.
Tried again.
Nothing, just a blue screen of death staring at me.
All my pictures. Gone.
All my blog info and research. Gone.
My family cookbook. My working on another project. Gone.
My Biblical Womanhood ebooks. Gone.
My emails, my email addresses. My affiliate passwords. My brain.
Yup, all gone!
I have lost it.

Recipe updates
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My husband and I had the Texas part of the family here and we had a wonderful time.
My day today has not been so wonderful! I have been going crazy (short trip) trying to figure out how to get a newsletter sign up on my blogs. After spending all day it is still not working and I never got a post up for today till now. I was so excited because I thought the newsletter sign up would not be that hard and I could announce it today. Now I am tired, frustrated and have very little to write about.
A few PS's I would like to put in here. First I made the Black Forest Crisp. I used sugar free cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple in it's own juice. It was soooo good! I am diabetic, so I was worried about it, but it did not send my sugar up at all. My sugar is watched carefully by me and I like to see what I eat will do to it. Since I am mildly diabetic I can probably eat more than others, but I was still surprised at the results.
Another "PS" is from my pizza Post. My brother sent me an email telling me the changes he makes to the crust. I told him I would pass it on to my readers
I do hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, Be sure to tell God how thankful you are for all HE has given you.Happy Turkey DayI saw your pizza recipe on your web site. I use 3 parts white flour to 1 part whole wheat. I sift all flour used in the dough as well as what I use to roll it out. Recently I started adding a teaspoon or 2 of oil as it is mixing, it keeps it from sticking.

You can see me but not hear me...
I am tired! I have a love/hate relationship with computers and mine has put me through the test the last few days. If anyone has an answer let me know!
I have a baby granddaughter that lives in NC. I live in Texas. I want her to know her Grammie like the other grandchildren do and finally saved my pennies to buy a web cam. I have wanted one for a long time, even when the other's were babies, but could never get one. Finally I got one and it came with an ear phone and mic. Friday I installed the webcam and mic. My granddaughter could see me, but the mic will not work. Frustration!
Today we had to go to the hospital to see my step son and on the way back we stopped at several places to try to get advice on the mic. We even asked the Geek Squad at Best Buy! Everyone said plug it in, change the sound card device manager so it knows there is a mic and it will work. (we already tried this a dozen times). I came home, went through it all again, headset works, mic does not!
Here is it, 8PM, I have spent all day and have a messy house and still no mic. You can see me but not hear me, I guess for some that is the way they like it. UGH.
We did see our son and he is doing some better from the accident. He still needs prayer as he is going to be going through re constructive surgery this week. There is still much pain, but when they try to rebuild the arm he will be hurting even more.
So, now that I have had an unproductive day, and an unproductive blog, I will say goodnight. Unless I kill my computer I will try to have more to offer next time.
